Preparation: Brown chicken pieces and onion in oil; sprinkle with salt. Add browned chicken, onions and other ingredients to crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW 5 1/2 to 7 hours. If desired, thicken juices with a mixture of about 2 tablespoons cornstarch combined with 2 tablespoons cold water.
